Vietnam: Drone captures severe flooding after deadly Typhoon Damrey slams Hoi An

Scores of people have been killed and dozens remain missing after Typhoon Damrey struck the Vietnamese coast on Sunday leading to severe flooding and the destruction of around 2,000 homes. Drone footage captured the extent of the flooding in the ancient city of Hoi An, Tuesday.

The typhoon comes as Vietnam prepares to host the Asia Pacific Economic Community Summit (APEC) Leader’s Week in nearby Danang, which will bring together a number of world leaders.

Danang has however been spared the worst of the destruction.
