US sends more aid to Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria devastation



The US government has sent navy ships to Puerto Rico to help with the growing humanitarian crisis caused by Hurricane Maria.

More than a week after it struck the US territory is still without power. Food and water supplies are running low.

Al Jazeera’s Teresa Bo reports from San Juan, Puerto Rico.

  1. The USA and Russia should consider shooting down the UN planes seeding the storms and setting fires. When will we join up and show that they are using storms earthquakes and fire to attack other countries? Talk about it and show and we all condemn it.

  2. Puerto Rico we understand the devastation there but when it's hard to get equipment in there and supplies in there you have to understand the situation you're not being denied help it is just hard to get to you try to make amends or get to a place where you can get out perhaps the shelter you can't just up and drive in there with the equipment food and supplies they're doing the best they can

  3. Houses made of tin! US is becoming more like a third world country lol China is going to rape them in the next few years.

  4. Get rid of the damned Jones Act. Countries wanting to send aid have to put it on an American flagged ship before it can go to Puerto Rico or pay huge tariffs. The transfer of aid to the American ship doubles or triples the cost of shipping.
