Rameswaram (Tamil Nadu), Apr 03 (ANI): The Sri Lankan Navy on Sunday detained at least six Indian nationals for allegedly smuggling 13.5 kilograms of heroin through the International Maritime Boundary Line. The Navy, according to a post on its website, had detected a suspicious movement of an Indian boat while crossing the waters to Sri Lanka in the wee hours. The U.N. Convention on the Law of the Sea states that fishermen who cross territorial waters can be warned and fined, but not arrested.
