Possible signals from missing Argentine submarine

Argentina’s defense ministry says that several failed “satellite calls” that it believes came from a missing naval submarine have been detected, in a likely sign the crew of 44 was trying to reestablish contact. Sara Hemrajani reports.
A sign of hope for the families of the 44 crew members on board a missing Argentine navy submarine.

On Saturday, the defense ministry said it believes it’s detected seven failed “satellite calls” from the vessel.

A possible indicator that the crew has been trying to reestablish communications.

The location of the ARA San Juan hasn’t been known since Wednesday, when it last made contact 268 miles off Argentina’s southern Atlantic coast.

Authorities in Argentina are now working on tracing the calls, while an international search mission is underway.

But that’s been complicated by recent stormy weather.

The navy says an electrical outage on the submarine may have caused its problems

  1. I don't understand how a sub sinks unless there's a leak. I wonder if they have communications or pings to locate them. Poor souls.

  2. its at the bottom of the pacific. china had to sink it. it was american made and allegedly sold to argentina illegally by naval personnel under the obama administration. the illegal sale of military hardware became common place a few years ago. china thought it was america bugging them months ago and when the recent saber rattling wouldnt stop they issued a threat of torpedo attack and it continued to go forward. they sunk it then america had to prove that all its subs were present and accounted for by moving everything to the south china sea to be counted by china to diffuse the situation.

nazis at the end of WW2 were taken to argentina which to this day has a white power problem. and just think this all unfolded while trump was complaining about foot ball players kneeling. 3rd time in 5 years we almost had a WW3
