Philippines: Navy Seals battle Maute group on Lake Lanao

Security forces fighting armed groups in the southern Philippines are focusing their efforts on a strategic lake.

Last month, Navy Seals intercepted several boats carrying weapons, ammunition and material to make bombs.

Al Jazeera’s Jamela Alindogan was given exclusive access to see the Seals in action on Lake Lanao, on Mindanao island.

  1. i thought it was a us navy seals, pls stop using the navy seals, there is only navy seals in the world the us navy seals, its time for us to have our own name…

  2. Maybe USA bring ISIS to PH to control PH President who turned for China. Now Syria and Iraq ISIS is shifting to Mindanao. PH president have to ask North Korea special forces to eradicate rebels and  solve the Mindanao problem, not USA.

  3. First the president of the Philippines was all, I hate the U.S.A they need to leave, then ISIS came and then he got on his knees and starting begging the U.S. for help.

  4. If they had gas grenades the filipino military could clean the city in days, even without destroying the city. But for humanitarian reasons the can't do that.

  5. all wars are bankers wars..funding both sides of wars since the French Revolution.
