Navy commander apologizes after Indigenous ceremony incident



A navy commander is apologizing to Indigenous people after video emerged showing Canadian Forces members disrupting a Mi’kmaq ceremony in Halifax. Rear Admiral John Newton says the navy is taking the Canada Day incident “very seriously.” (July 2, 2017)
