The Marine Corps All-Star Jazz Band’s lead trombonist, Staff Sgt. Ken Ebo, wrote the jazz rendition of the Marines’ Hymn on the six hour bus ride to Marquette, Mich., one stop on the annual All-Star Jazz Band tour. This is the band’s first take on Ebo’s rendition. The band is made up of the 18 best Marine jazz musicians. They tour to increase Marine Corps awareness in the community, which helps increase recruiting in the specific Marine Corps Districts they perform in. The members hold concerts and clinics at high schools and colleges as they travel.

  1. This was one of the coolest parts of the trip. Can't believe Staff Sgt. Ebo wrote this himself on the bus ride there!
