  1. We are visiting Santa Rosa this week where there are many condos that are not beachfront but very close to the beach. The condos that are beachfront are trying to prevent anyone from accessing the beach behind their home claiming that they own the beach. Then you have 3rd party chair and umbrella vendors who set up rows of chairs that might potentially be used and no one else can access the beach at those locations. Shameful a republican florida congress passed hb631. They are trying to do away with customary use laws. They condo owners only have jurisdiction over the dry sand near their home. The wet sand where the high tide reaches is fair game.
