Stephen Parr you are an idiot! The captain is not supposed to leave the ship until he knows every person is off that ship.He is a coward. That is the responsibility he takes when he became captain.Apparently you do not understand that.He should be charged for every life that was taken that night.

  • Stephen Parr says:

A lot of ignorant comments here. Leave him alone. Hes undoubtedly suffering as it is for being responsible for the ship. The media is guilty of sensationalising things at the best of times to suit themselves. And were any of you there? I doubt any of you would have done better than he did under that intense pressure. He is an experienced mariner, who was involved in a tragic error. Leave it at that.

  • Annie says:

The TRUTH ALWAYS PREVAILS! I have a good feeling about his Captain's honesty, given that he has witnesses with whom he was in direct contact with. Hopefully NONE of them LIE. Anything is … of course, possible though. Countless folk LIE to save their backsides / and/or gain promotion too. <<< This I experienced firsthand … and worst still, with one whom I had actually studied with and some years later, recommended for the position being made available at the time. 🙁
Thankfully … I truly believe in Karma … so no matter what … good or bad, WILL eventually come around. There is NO escape. 🙂
