Chinese Navy sends escort fleet to Gulf of Aden

A Chinese naval fleet has left Zhanjiang port in southern Guangdong Province for an escort mission in the Gulf of Aden. It is the 25th convoy sent by the Chinese Navy for an escort mission since 2008. The fleet consists of two missile frigates, a supply ship, two helicopters, and more than 700 personnel, including dozens of special combat troops.
